Metric Converter

In Australia we converted to the metric system in the early 70's, and surprise, surprise, we discovered that measuring ingredients was not an exact science. Close approximations were easy to achieve and, in 99.99999% of recipes, did not affect the end result. So, in this table, I have ignored the difference between the UK and US cups. Use the ezconverter software if you want something more precise.

This table is useful but I have found something even better. It is FREE software called ezconverter. I have it open all the time - it's small so doesn't take much space -, calculates all the conversions that you need, and you can't beat the price.

Download it here.
